Launched in the fall of 2012, Alpine Press aims to become the premier source of English-language alpine ski racing news and feature content in the world. We are a web-based publication, bringing the rigor of a daily newspaper and the passion of a targeted glossy magazine to our work.
Alpine Press is the complementary, sport-specific platform to the highly successful FasterSkier website that has delivered quality journalism to the ski industry for the past 11 years. At the heart of Alpine Press is innovative content developed by writers and editors committed to reporting on the inside line from every angle of the sport of alpine ski racing.
Alpine Press was launched in October of 2012 to provide the latest information to alpine ski racers on the world wide web. We intend to become the first place that alpine skiers go to for race news, results, training advice, and all their skiing needs. Alpine Press will be THE source for alpine ski racing information.
Alpine Press is managed by the experienced, dynamic team of Marina Knight and Christine J. Feehan. Marina competed for Stratton Mountain School and Williams College, is married to former U.S. Ski Team ace Chip Knight, and spent six years as a staff writer and web editor at The Stowe Reporter where she covered the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. Christine has a master’s degree in creative writing from Dartmouth College and spent ten years coaching at some of the country’s most prestigious ski academies before becoming a contributing writer at Ski Racing Magazine, The Stowe Reporter, and NCAA.com.
We are passionate about alpine ski racing and are committed to doing our part to support and grow the sport.
